Ahri

Computed from 285,541 ranked Solo/Duo games collected through the Riot API · patch 26.21.
| Role | Win Rate | Pick Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Mid | 50.9% | 10.9% |
Ahri is banned in about 4.0% of games at this tier, one figure for the whole champion since bans happen before roles are picked. What ban rate measures.
Ahri's Mid win rate is 0.9 percentage points above an even 50% — Should I Dodge's win-probability model varies by about 4.8 percentage points of standard deviation from lobby to lobby across all ranks, purely from which champions get drawn, so this gap is smaller than that noise, not solid evidence the champion is unusually strong or weak right now.
Ahri is tracked in exactly one role at this tier scope, Mid — so there's no ambiguity below about which lane the rest of this page's per-tier, threat, and counters reporting describes.

Our Read on Ahri
Reading the Numbers
Whether the charm lands is the question that defines an Ahri game. Charm is a skillshot that knocks its target down, charms them and slows them, and the rest of her kit leans on it, since the Fox-Fire flames go after charmed enemies first. That makes her results a measure of aim and timing more than of any single build choice. A player who connects consistently turns mid lane into a string of free trades, while one who keeps missing finds that Orb of Deception alone will not carry a lane. Treat the figures on this page with that spread in mind: they blend comfortable one-trick players with people trying her for the first time.
When a Teammate Locks Ahri
An Ahri lock-in tells you the mid laner wants to play for picks and movement rather than for sieging towers or scaling behind a frontline. Her ultimate, Spirit Rush, dashes her forward and fires bolts at nearby enemies, and it can be recast, with a champion takedown adding to the recasts she has stored. She therefore shines in fights that are already rolling. Let her farm safely early, expect her to look for roams once she has a lead, and when a charm connects, follow up at once, because that stretch of helplessness is the window your whole team can collapse on.
When the Enemy Has Ahri
Respect the charm before you respect anything else on her bar. It travels in a straight line and stops at the first enemy it touches, so keeping a minion between you and her in lane, or an ally in front of you in a fight, makes the cast far less reliable. She repositions well after a trade, yet Spirit Rush has a weakness: a knockdown interrupts the dash, so a knockdown timed on her mid-flight is a real way to punish an overextended Ahri. Her kit gives her little staying power, so a team that can reach her usually ends up ahead in the exchange.
