Sett

Computed from 198,326 ranked Solo/Duo games collected through the Riot API · patch 26.21.
| Role | Win Rate | Pick Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Top | 51.5% | 8.0% |
Sett is banned in about 4.3% of games at this tier, one figure for the whole champion since bans happen before roles are picked. What ban rate measures.
Sett's Top win rate is 1.5 percentage points above an even 50% — Should I Dodge's win-probability model varies by about 4.8 percentage points of standard deviation from lobby to lobby across all ranks, purely from which champions get drawn, so this gap is smaller than that noise, not solid evidence the champion is unusually strong or weak right now.
Sett is tracked in exactly one role at this tier scope, Top — so there's no ambiguity below about which lane the rest of this page's per-tier, threat, and counters reporting describes.

At most five champions are listed in each direction for Sett: the 5 that counter it here lean burst-heavy, with a tight, 8-point spread — none of them stand out much from the others among them, while 5 favourable matchups round out the picture — most matchups you could actually face simply aren't covered.
Our Read on Sett
Reading the Numbers
Land punches and take a beating -- Sett's resource bar, Grit, builds from the damage he takes in melee range, not what he deals, and he spends it through Haymaker, his charged punch, for a shield or extra damage. That straightforward, stat-check identity is the whole pitch: good positioning and picking the right moment to punch matter more than any hidden combo, so his results track fairly closely with how the matchup itself goes.
When a Teammate Locks Sett
Give a Sett teammate room to brawl: his Grit bar builds from the damage he takes up close, and extended melee exchanges are exactly what he wants. His ultimate lets him grab a single chosen enemy and slam them down -- the explosion around the landing spot hits harder the more bonus health that enemy is carrying, so calling for him to grab the enemy tank can wreck whoever's standing near it.
When the Enemy Has Sett
Kite, poke, or lock down an enemy Sett rather than trading with him up close -- prolonged melee is where he's strongest, and anything that keeps him out of punching range takes away most of what his kit does. His grab-and-slam ultimate is most dangerous when he grabs your tankiest target, since the explosion on landing scales with their bonus health and can wreck your own squishies standing nearby. Keep your frontline spread out from the rest of your team once he has that ultimate up.
