Xin Zhao is banned in about 1.0% of games at this tier, one figure for the whole champion since bans happen before roles are picked. What ban rate measures.
Xin Zhao's Jungle win rate is 0.4 percentage points above an even 50% — Should I Dodge's win-probability model varies by about 4.8 percentage points of standard deviation from lobby to lobby across all ranks, purely from which champions get drawn, so this gap is smaller than that noise, not solid evidence the champion is unusually strong or weak right now.

Our Read on Xin Zhao
Reading the Numbers
Xin Zhao plays the same game he always has: a duelist jungler whose three-hit knockup and dash let him win fights before either side has finished building. That identity hasn't shifted through years of kit tweaks and visual updates, even as any single win-rate percentage moves from patch to patch depending on how strong early jungle pressure happens to be that season. He rewards a player who forces fights rather than one who waits for a lead to appear on its own.
When a Teammate Locks Xin Zhao
A teammate locking Xin Zhao is telling you the plan is to fight, not farm -- his three-hit passive and knockup exist to start skirmishes, not win a scaling race. Line up a lane he can gank early, since his own pressure fades once the game slows down and enemies build up resistances to a single burst combo. He punishes a team that waits for him: the longer nobody follows his lead into a fight, the less any of his early strength is worth by the time it matters.
When the Enemy Has Xin Zhao
Facing Xin Zhao means the danger window is early: expect dives and skirmishes around your jungler's pathing well before either side has core items, with an ultimate built to isolate whoever is easiest to burst down alone. Play tighter than usual in those opening exchanges and deny him a kill he can build on. Once the laning phase ends without him ahead, he has little left to threaten a team that outscales him -- the version of Xin Zhao worth worrying about only exists in the first part of the game.
